Comp I Shoals-get ready to write essay two tonight in class. I will be returning essay one for all you guys. Good Job by the way! These were probably the highest grades I have had on a first essay attempt in awhile.

Comp II Shoals-EDGAR ALLEN POE! -enough said. But, bring short stories to class so that you have material to read as I introduce you to the wonderful world of murder and mayhem that is Poe's writing.....

Columbia State-You guys have your first official essay due on Thursday. Please take your time and spell check and grammar check before submission. Also, be sure that you submit your essay to turnitin.com before class! Bring a printed copy of your essay for me to grade. Good Luck!

Remembering 9/11 and the Return of Greatness

First of all, today is 9/11 so we should all be taking a moment of silence to remember those who fell during and after that great tragedy. To all who were affected and to our nation, you are forever in our prayers.

Second, the return of greatness has finally happened! Sons of Anarchy is back for its third season on FX. The season opener left me speechless. If you havn't witnessed this mob of men on motorcycles, the first two seasons are now on sale. If you hurry, you can get caught up before episode two on Tuesday night! Expect this blogger to spend many hours reliving each episode through this website....

Columbia State-Please remember that you all need to bring your comp I books so we can cover material missed last week.

Northwest Shoals-Comp II-Remember, no class tuesday night. Thursday, bring completed essays and study for your exam. Comp One-make sure you have a completed rough draft by thursday night!

So, if you are not watching this show, you should be! This show is witty and laugh out loud funny. The two best friends, Shaun and Gus, have a chemistry that cannot be taught. It just comes naturally to these guys. They love their job and their excitement comes thru in each and every episode. Tune in. If you are not a fan already, you soon will be!
