Technology Haters

I recently have faced some new people on the job that seem to be what I like to call technology haters! Now, I do not hate technology, I simply am baffled by it sometimes. However, I try to learn and adapt where possible. So, for all those people out there hating technology and new ideas, I say, please! You are making my job much more stressful! Try and learn before you completely dismiss an idea. It is called being open-minded and it can take you far in life.....

Mockingjay Tommorrow!

For those of you who do not know, the series beginning with the book Hunger Games is one of the best series of books out there...and now the long awaited third book in the series is being released tom!! I am very excited, obviously. But seriously, for those of us who are devoted fans, we have been waiting about six months for the release of the third book. So, I will see you at Wal-mart in the morning or if I am really bad, at Books-A-Million at midnight!

Welcome Back

Hello fellow readers and bloggers. Sorry i havn't written lately. When I returned from the land of PhD work, I went straight into preparations for my new job. However, since Northwest Shoals starts back tom. night, I figured now was the perfect time to get reacquainted with my blog. So, here we are back for the Fall semester. Here's hoping everything goes well. Here's some new interesting info to get us off to a great start.

*Shakespeare used around 29,000 different words in his plays. About 10,000 of those words had never previously been used in any surviving English literature. Around 6,000 words only appear once.
